Can't see the layout option
Go to "Preferences" (or "Settings" on Windows/Linux) from the Android Studio menu.
In the left pane, select "Editor" -> "Layout Editor".
Make sure the "Enable Layout Editor" checkbox is checked.
Click "Apply" and then "OK" to save the changes.
Check if your project has any layout files:
In the "Project" pane, expand the "app" folder and then the "res" folder.
Look for the "layout" folder. If it's not there, create a new one by right-clicking on the "res" folder, selecting "New" -> "Android resource directory", and then selecting "layout" from the "Resource type" dropdown menu.
If the "layout" folder is already there, make sure it contains at least one layout file (usually named "activity_main.xml").
If neither of these solutions work, try restarting Android Studio or updating it to the latest version. If the problem still persists, you can ask for further assistance on the official Android Studio forum or community.
